To recap, effective January 1, that desperately needed assistance for all those who receive income assistance, disability assistance, hardship assistance, the comforts allowance, or the B.C. Senior s Supplement will be slashed in half: from $300 monthly to $150.  And after March, even that reduced monthly grant will be entirely eliminated, regardless of whatever other measures might be announced in the April 20 budget.
