[Religion News Service] On the first Wednesday in May, as the centennial of the Tulsa massacre approached, the Rev. Robert R.A. Turner stood outside Tulsa City Hall with his megaphone, as he does every week.
“Tulsa, you will reap what you sow and that which you have done unto the least of these my children, Jesus said, you have done also unto me,” said Turner, 38, the pastor of Historic Vernon African Methodist Episcopal Church, captured on a video posted on Facebook.

DUNEDIN, FL A 59-year-old Clearwater man is accused of committing a sexual battery in Dunedin in 1999 after DNA evidence was recently retested.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff s Office, Gregory Thompson has been charged with sexual batter with a deadly weapon in connection to an assault that took place Nov. 15, 1999, in Dunedin.
Deputies said a 30-year-old woman left her house for a short while, leaving the door unlocked. While she was gone, a man slipped inside the house. When she returned, he threatened her with a knife and sexually battered her. He then ordered her to shower to destroy the evidence.
MASSENA â A Massena business has been honored with the New York State Senate Empire Award.
State Sen. Joseph A. Griffo, R-Rome, visited Massena on Thursday to present the award to Brittany Murtagh, owner and operator of The Nest by 2 Mama Birds. The Nest is a small clothing and gift boutique located in downtown Massena.
Ms. Murtagh is also a teacher aide at Nightengale Elementary School, where the award was presented.
