The Centre for Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy (CSSEIP), Andhra University, organised a one-day national webinar on “Religious Minorities: Identity, Social Exclusion and Inclusion” here on Saturday. Registrar V. Krishna Mohan, who attended the event as chief guest, inaugurated the programme. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Krishna Mohan said that discrimination and exclusion of any class of people were not desirable and they lead to underdevelopment of the nation. Social exclusion of people based on caste, religion, gender or ethnicity breaches human dignity and is against the spirit of universal brotherhood and equality, he added. Senior Advocate, District Court, Visakhapatnam, Jaha Aara, is among those who attended.

‘Plans are afoot to spend ₹12.85 crore for the purpose’
The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has planned to create facilities for the bus crew members in Hyderabad.
ARSRTC Vice-Chairman and Managing Director R. P. Thakur on Sunday inspected the existing facilities at the BHEL bus station in Hyderabad. He, along with, RTC Executive Director (Operations) K.S. Brahmananda Reddy, Executive Director (Engineering) Krishna Mohan, Chief Civil Engineer Sreenivas and other officials, inspected the 2.25 acre facility and discussed how best the property could be improved.

Amaravati: Minister for Agriculture Kurasala Kannababu slammed TDP leaders over allegations on him and denied of having any link with Pastor Praveen Chakravarthy s issue while TDP has been making false allegations only with political motives.
Speaking to media at party central office here on Monday, the Minister said it was YSRCP Government that has identified the postings of Pastor Praveen s speech on social media platforms and arrested him immediately.
