The 14 x 30-minute show is headed to Discovery+ via a multi-territory pre-sale deal secured by Cineflix Rights.
It will launch on Discovery+ channels across the UK, Germany, Iberia, the Nordics, Italy, Benelux, Poland, and Latin America. Cineflix is handling international sales in all global territories, including for America. A release date has not yet been announced.
I Got Lucky features footage and first-hand accounts from people who have lived through death-defying experiences, from accidents and explosions to extreme stunts gone wrong. The Discovery-commissioned series went from greenlight to delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Cream Productions president Kate Harrison Karman.
