Superintendent of Schools Toni Jones sent an email home to GPS families Tuesday afternoon informing them the school district would go to all remote learning from Jan. 4 through Jan. 8. In-person learning is scheduled to resume Jan. 11. “This will assist in keeping our schools safe, healthy and fully staffed,” Jones said.

But, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, she also has to rewrite exams and assignments, adapt her curriculum to both her in-person and remote students, upload worksheets to software that she and her colleagues learned for this year, and meet with other staffers via Zoom.
