The Wyoming Highway Patrol reports that the accident occurred shortly before 4 p.m.
A 2007 Ford Crown Vic was traveling west along the highway in a heavy rainstorm with very poor tire tread. The Ford driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve to the right and crossed into the eastbound lane colliding with a 2000 BMW K1200LT motorcycle and a 2016 Indian Scout Sixty ATV.

The driver of the BMW has been identified as 56-year-old Plattsburg, Missouri resident Brett E. Dickerson. Dickerson was wearing a helmet and succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash.
Hydroplaning as a result of wet road conditions, poor tire tread and speed are being investigated as contributing factors in a crash on US Highway 14 southwest of Dayton, that resulted in the deaths of two Missouri motorcyclists.

The motorcyclists have been identified as 56-year old Brett Dickerson and 57-year old Robin Dickerson, both from Plattsburg, Missouri.
