Operation Crimson Heist is just the beginning of a new era, but how the future of
Rainbow Six Siege will look like? Here we will go over some of the brave changes that the developers have in mind for the future of
Rainbow Six Siege, some of which I probably prefer not to happen, but I would definitely like to see how the changes affect the game at least in the Test Server. First, let’s start with the roadmap.
Year 6 Roadmap:
Year 6 is going to be the first year in the history of
Rainbow Six Siege that every season will add only one operator to the game. Aside from Season One’s Flores, new operators from Nacoda, Croatia, and Ireland will be joining the game in the course of Year 6.
Rainbow Six Siege - Crimson Heist Operator and Map Guide
A new Attacker named Flores will bring some explosive drones to Team Rainbow when Crimson Heist, the first season of Year 6, launches for Rainbow Six Siege. The new season will also introduce the Gonne-6, a secondary weapon option for select Attackers that shoots a single explosive round, as well as a rework for the Border map. Furthermore, the Match Replay feature will enter its beta phase and launch on PC. Match Replay on PC, the Gonne-6, and the Border map will be free for all players when Crimson Heist launches. Flores will be available through the premium track of the Crimson Heist Battle Pass, and will also be unlockable two weeks after the season launch with Renown or R6 credits.
And the good news is that we will be getting the full Rainbow Six Siege Crimson Heist reveal later today. Ubisoft has confirmed that the Rainbow Six Siege Year 6 stream will begin on February 21, at around 5pm GMT.
The R6 Crimson Heist stream will be held on Twitch and gamers can use the link above to watch everything unfold.
This would usually be part of the R6 Invitational but will now be a standalone event, as the eSports has had to be postponed.
Ubisoft confirmed in a recent statement: “We have now learned that LAN esports events are no longer possible in today’s context, despite the strict sanitary measures put in place.
A few days earlier, Ubisoft officially revealed the next season of
Rainbow Six Siege, Crimson Heist. Now, we get to know the new operator joining the roster in this season, Flores. While the full details of the operator are yet to be revealed, at least we can tell that his remote-control drone is going to be the main ability of the new Attacker. Flores
R6 Siege’s addition will probably be followed by some other changes that are yet to be announced.
As the teaser trailer below shows off, Flores is a new Attacker with an explosive remote-control drone. This is all the details we have received officially so far, but according to Ubisoft, the full reveal of the new operator and the new season will be happening on February 21, soon after which, you can check out our exclusive hands-on impressions on the new operator and some other interesting changes coming to the game in this season.
