The CBC’s Omar Dabaghi-Pacheco reports.2:22 A group of volunteers has formed an online resource to help struggling parents make it through the darkest days of the pandemic  a resource some say they wish had been around when they were new moms and dads. The Village Project is a peer-support network created by parents who are keenly aware of the challenges a new baby can bring, including postpartum depression and anxiety.

As of Thursday, 14,151 Ottawa residents have tested positive for COVID-19. There are currently 445 known active cases and 13,271 resolved cases. Public health officials have attributed 435 deaths to COVID-19.  Public health officials have reported more than 25,100 COVID-19 cases across eastern Ontario and western Quebec, including more than 23,700 resolved cases. Elsewhere in eastern Ontario, 128 people have died of COVID-19, and 158 people have died in western Quebec.  Akwesasne has had more than 200 residents test positive on the Canadian side of the border and seven deaths. Kitigan Zibi has had 21 confirmed cases and Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory has had four.
