A woman was killed Tuesday night after two people accused of murdering her brother barged into her house and opened fire.
The 28-year-old was moved to the Rural Health Centre, Kot Najibullah, and died during treatment. She has been identified as Razia Bibi.
The body was handed over to heirs after postmortem examination. Her family members, however, blocked the Haripur-Taxila Road in protest and demanded justice.

Age Limit for Single-Dose CanSinoBio Vaccine Reduced Yet Again
District Health Officer (DHO) Islamabad has reduced the age limit for receiving CanSinoBIO’s COVID-19 vaccine to 60 years.
This is the second time within a space of few weeks that the age limit for receiving CanSinoBIO’s vaccine in the capital has been changed.

Initially, DHO Islamabad had fixed the age limit for receiving CanSinoBIO’s vaccine at 80 years that was later changed to 70 years.
According to DHO Islamabad, Zaeem Zia, residents of the federal capital can get the single-dose CanSinoBIO vaccine at the Rural Health Center (RHC) Tarlai.

Islamabad: Pakistan’s coronavirus cases crossed the grim milestone of 700,000 on Wednesday with 4,004 cases reported during the last 24 hours.
The country’s death toll also surged to 15,026 as 102 people lost their lives to the virus during the past day.
The total number of cases in the country stood at 700,188 on Wednesday.
According to the National Health Services, 41,699 tests were conducted for COVID-19 during the last 24 hours that showed the virus positivity rate was 9.6 per cent in the country with active cases jumping to 64,373.
Pakistan’s number of cases has declined slightly in the past two days. On Tuesday the country reported less than 4,000 cases.
