ODOT has increased signage on the approach to the Ohio 37 bridge widening construction zone in Granville to discourage speeders as they approach the area. At the May 19 Granville Village Council meeting, speeding concerns were raised in the wake of recent traffic pattern changes on the bridge. Kraig Koester of Cedar & Thread, 1919 Lancaster Road, said, “Much progress has been made since your last meeting. As you know, traffic has been routed to the new side of the bridge headed north, into the Village.” However, Koester said since that change was made, “What I’ve noticed as a business owner right at that intersection is traffic is moving very fast, northbound across that bridge. It’s a much wider area than it was before.”
