Wisconsin QB Jack Coan enters transfer portal

By Stephen Cohn Dec 20, 2020 5:21 PM MADISON, Wis. Wisconsin quarterback Jack Coan has entered the transfer portal, according to a tweet from his dad and multiple reports. Coan started 18 games for the Badgers over two seasons, but missed the 2020 season after suffering a foot injury before the start of the season. His injury opened the door for redshirt-freshman Graham Mertz to start under center, which included a sparkling performance against Illinois to open the year. In 22 career games, Coan threw for more than 3,200 yards to go with 23 touchdown passes and eight interceptions. COPYRIGHT 2020 BY CHANNEL 3000. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
