Plug-in hybrid version of facelifted mid-size SUV brings 55km of EV range and can power your home
Three versions of the new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross PHEV (plug-in hybrid) will arrive in Australia next month priced from $46,490 plus on-road costs.
Bringing the number of variants in the facelifted 2021 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross range released last November to 12, the first plug-in version starts just $500 higher than the cheapest plug-in hybrid mainstream mid-size SUV, the MG HS PHEV (from $45,990 plus ORCs).
However, it’s also only $1500 more affordable than Mitsubishi’s own Outlander PHEV (from $47,990), which will be replaced by a bigger and likely more expensive model later this year.
