Thank you for challenging me to be a better player on and off the court. I wish nothing but the best for the Syracuse program. With that being said, I would like to announce that I will be transferring to North Carolina A&T State University. Amaya Finklea-Guity, who played four seasons for the Syracuse women’s basketball program, will spend her final year of college eligibility at Duke. The former Syracuse center announced her decision on Wednesday in a post on Twitter. Duke suspended its 2020-21 season after playing only four games due to concerns of the coronavirus pandemic.

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson women’s basketball has announced the addition of Latrese Saine, a graduate transfer from Southeast Missouri State, to its 2021 class. Saine joins fellow grad transfer Kiara Lewis as part of a 2021 class that includes five freshmen (Makayla Elmore, Kionna Gaines, Eno Inyang, Madison Ott, and Sydney Standifer) and a junior college transfer (Daisha Bradford). A 6-foot-4 center from West Memphis, Ark., Saine spent the last five seasons at SEMO, where she appeared in 101 games. She received a medical redshirt following her freshman year, allowing her to play the next four for the Redhawks. Last year, her senior season, Saine was named All-OVC First Team and the OVC defensive player of the year after blocking 103 shots. She averaged 10.38 points and 8.54 rebounds in 2020-21, with eight double-doubles. Facebook Subscribe to our sports newsletter here Syracuse forward Maeva Djaldi-Tabdi is transferring to Miami, the Hurricanes announced Monday morning. The redshirt junior is the third Syracuse player from the 2020-21 roster to announce a transfer to an Atlantic Coast Conference foe.  Including her redshirt year, Djaldi-Tabdi spent four seasons with the Orange, appearing in 89 total games and averaging 7.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. Djaldi-Tabdi joined nine other SU players from this year’s roster in the transfer portal, and became the fourth to announce her new destination.
