Un adolescente de 14 años saltó al vacío desde el Vessel en Hudson Yards el jueves por la tarde frente a su horrorizada familia, y la atracción turística puede cerrarse para siempre debido a la última muerte.
El adolescente saltó del octavo piso de la estructura en West 33rd Street y 10th Avenue y fue declarado muerto justo antes de la 1 pm, según la policía.

UPDATED Thursday July 29, 2021 at 7:22 p.m.: The Vessel is closed again after a 14-year-old boy jumped to his death from the eighth level of the 16-story structure Thursday afternoon, a spokesperson for the New York Police Department said.
Witnesses saw the boy jump from the Hudson Yards’ landmark and authorities said his injuries were consistent with a fall.
Related Companies, which owns and operates the Vessel, has closed the structure and is conducting an investigation, said Kimberly Winston, a spokesperson for Hudson Yards.
It marks the fourth time someone has died after jumping from the Vessel and comes after Related closed the structure for several months starting in January after a 24-year-old woman and 21-year-old man leapt to their deaths within weeks of each other.

Who designed Hudson Yards Vessel?
One of the significant features of the Hudson Yards building is the vessel which is comprised of 154 intricately interconnecting flights of stairs 2,500 individual steps and 80 landings. The dramatically designed staircase which stands 150 feet in the air was fabricated in Monfalcone, Italy, and arrived on Manhattan’s West Side after 15 days at sea, a brief stay at Port Newark, and a five-hour barge trip across the Hudson River. The vessel was constructed from a steel frame that was covered by a copper-colored steel cladding. This intriguing structure is one of the highlights of the building but it was shut down in January this year after a third person committed suicide by j
