Issue of 15 May 2026 Nominal Bond Announced

Source: New Zealand Treasury: The Treasury has today announced that NZ$3.5 billion of nominal 15 May 2026 New Zealand Government Bonds have been issued via syndication. The bonds, which carry a coupon of 0.50%, were issued at a spread of 16 basis points over the 15 April 2025 nominal bond, at a yield to maturity of 0.745%. Total book size, within the initial pricing guidance range of 14 to 18 basis points, exceeded NZ$7.5 billion. Settlement will occur on 10 February 2021 and there will be no further issuance of the new bond prior to May 2021. ENDS

Two more people have appeared in court in Aberdeen after nearly £22,000 worth of drugs were seized as part of a UK-wide crackdown. Officers raided three properties in Aberdeen and two in London as part of the County Lines operation, which aims to stop drug dealers in big cities expanding into smaller communities. As a result of the raids, heroin and crack cocaine worth an estimated £21,900 was seized. On Thursday a man and a woman from Aberdeen appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in connection with the matter, and now two further men from England have also appeared over the matter.
