San Marcos police looking for teen who shot 2 other teens By FOX 7 Austin Digital Team Published  SAN MARCOS, Texas - The San Marcos Police Department is looking for a 17-year-old who they say shot and injured two 18-year-olds after an argument. The incident happened on January 30 at the Whispering Oaks community located at 503 Uhland Road. The property was formerly known as the Siesta Mobile Home Park. Officers arrived at the scene and one 18-year-old male was found inside a car parked in front of a trailer and he had been shot several times. Another 18-year-old male was found down the street with a graze wound from a gunshot.

SAN MARCOS – A 17-year-old San Marcos man is facing two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a shooting in late January. Octavius Garner turned himself in on Feb. 16, according to a news release from the San Marcos Police Department. Garner is believed to be responsible for a Jan. 30. shooting at a mobile home park in the Whispering Oaks Community, located at 503 Uhland Road.

A 17-year-old who authorities have accused of shooting two men after an argument late last month at mobile home park in San Marcos surrendered to officers last week during the freeze that gripped Central Texas, police said. San Marcos police responded to the shooting on Jan. 30 at the Whispering Oaks community, formerly Siesta Mobile Home Park, at 503 Uhland Road, just west of Interstate 35.  Officers found two 18-year-olds with gunshot wounds. One victim was found inside a car in front of a trailer with several gunshot wounds. The second victim was found down the street with a graze wound, police said.

Tuesday, February 2, 2021 San Marcos police are searching for a teen suspected to be involved in a shooting that occurred Saturday night at the Whispering Oaks community.  The San Marcos Police Department has obtained a warrant for Octavius Garner, 17, who allegedly shot at two victims at Whispering Oaks formerly Siesta Mobile Home Park located at 503 Uhland Road. Garner is being charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, officials said.  SMPD was dispatched to a shooting that occurred Saturday at Whispering Oaks where officers found two gunshot victims when they arrived on scene.  Officials said police found an 18-year-old man who sustained several gunshot wounds inside a parked car in front of a trailer. SMPD said officers found another 18-year-old man further down the street with a graze wound from a gunshot. SMPD said both victims were treated at Ascension Seton Hays hospital in Kyle. Officials said both gunshot victims are expected to survive.
