Two killed over land dispute

MANSEHRA: Two persons were killed and a woman sustained injuries when rivals allegedly opened fire on them in Oghi on Sunday.
Police sources said that Khayal Muhammad and his cousin Muhammad Ibrahim were killed and a woman Zarina Bibi, who is stated to be the wife of latter, received bullet injuries when Muhammad Khalid, Mohammad Naeedm and their accomplice allegedly opened fire on them over a land dispute.
The injured were rushed to the Civil Hospital in Oghi wherefrom doctors referred Zarina Bibi to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital in Mansehra.

MANSEHRA: A man was killed and another wounded when a motorcar skidded off the road and fell into a ravine in Daman Sharif area here on Sunday.
The vehicle was on its way to Balakot from Mansehra when the driver lost control over it while negotiating a sharp turn.
The Rescue 1122 officials pulled both the injured out after cutting the badly damaged vehicle and rushed them to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital where doctors pronounced Mohammad Waqas dead while Said Ghulam was referred to Ayub Medical Complex Hospital, Abbottabad.
The police, after lodging FIR, started investigation. 10 wounded in clash: Meanwhile, 10 people sustained critical injuries when two rival groups attacked each other with clubs and axes in Shinkiari area.

Mansehra issues certificates to PWDs

MANSEHRA: District administration issued medical certificates to several persons with disabilities (PWDs) in a single day through a one-window operation here on Friday.
“We have set the precedent for the other districts across the province by issuing PWDs their medical disability certificates in a single day,” Assistant Commissioner Sundus Arshad Malik told reporters after leading a one-window operation organised by the district administration here.
The entire staff of the Social Welfare Department, led by District Officer Welfare Mumtaz Shah, medical board members, officials of employment exchange and principals of various vocational institutions reached King Abdullah Teaching Hospital to ensure the medical disability certificates to PWDs, who came here from across the district.

MANSEHRA: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department initiated the anti-coronavirus vaccination drive for the frontline workers here on Tuesday.
“We are going to administer the Covid-19 vaccine to around 600 frontline workers of the health department,” Dr Qasim Ali Khan, the deputy commissioner, told reporters after the inaugural ceremony of the anti-Covid-19 vaccination at the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital here.
Medical Superintendent of King Abdullah Teaching Hospital Dr Shahzad Ali Khan and PTI officer-bearers Kamal Saleem Swati and Malik Mushtaq Khattana were also in attendance.
Dr Qasim said that around 500 medical staff of the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital and around 100 medical staff of Oghi health facilities would be administered anti-Covid-19 vaccine during the first phase of the drive launched in the district.
