The Devils finally got back to playing a good 60 minutes of hockey, and that guaranteed them a point against the first-place New York Islanders on Sunday, but not ending their longest home losing streak in franchise history.
Then P.K Subban scored on a slap shot 27 seconds into the 3-on-3 overtime, the Devils celebrated and even that didn’t kill their 0-10-0 spell at Prudential Center. An off-sides call on Jesper Bratt after a video review kept the game going.
Islanders C Jean-Gabriel Pageau placed on COVID-19 list
