MMDCES, MPs Must Collaborate To Stimulate Development — Kwadaso MP

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Kwadaso (MP), Dr Kingsley Nyarko, has called for effective collaboration between Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) and their Members of Parliament (MPs) to stimulate development in their various constituencies. According to him, closer working relations between the two parties would not only help to bring the needed development but also peace and harmony in constituencies. Meeting Speaking at a town hall meeting organised at Tanoso, Dr Nyarko said unity between key stakeholders and leadership from the various interest groups was key to community building and development. The meeting, the eighth in the series, was to afford the MP and the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr Richmond Agyenim Boateng, the opportunity to learn at first hand the challenges facing residents and how best they could work together to resolve them.

Collective Efforts Needed To Fight Galamsey – Dr Kingsley Nyarko

Dr Kingsley Nyarko, Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwadaso, has stressed the need for concerted efforts by all Ghanaians to fight the illegal mining menace. He said it was important for traditional and religious leaders, media, civil society organizations and politicians to come together to support the government to restore environmental sanity in the country. Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Kumasi, he said illegal mining was causing serious devastation to the country’s forest and water bodies and there was the need for all to join the government to halt the menace. Dr Nyarko pointed out that traditional rulers, who were the custodian of lands, had a critical role to play to stop the menace adding that, government alone could not do that.

Dr Kingsley Nyarko, Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwadaso, has urged parents and guardians to keep firm eyes on their children and wards for them to become responsible citizens in future. It is also important for parents to monitor the movements of their children, as well as those they play with in order for them not to fall prey to ill-intended people. Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview in Kumasi, Dr Nyarko said parents ought to strive to ensure not only the growth and wellbeing of their children, but their proper socio-cultural development as well.
