POLICE have arrsted two teenagers as part of an investigation in to an arson incident. Emergency services were called at 4.40am in the early hours of Saturday, May 8 to reports of a fire in a charity clothing bank container outside the Kingfisher Leisure Centre, Station Road, Sudbury. The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported. Now police have arrested two 17-year-old teenagers in relation to the fire. A Suffolk Police spokesman said: Today, Wednesday, May 12, police have arrested two 17-year-old boys on suspicion of criminal damage – arson not endangering life. Both have been taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning by officers.

Two teenagers, aged 17, have been arrested in connection with a fire at a charity clothes bank in Sudbury.
Firefighters were called to the containers outside the Kingfisher Leisure Centre in Station Road at 4.40am on Saturday, May 8.
The crews from Sudbury Fire Station had to wrench open the banks to put out the flames. No injuries were reported.
Today, Wednesday May 12, police have arrested two 17-year-old boys on suspicion of criminal damage arson not endangering life.

Firefighters had to deal with two fires early this morning in Sudbury first charity clothing bins were set alight, then crews rushed to a blaze at nearby garden sheds.
An engine from Sudbury Fire Station was called to the Kingfisher Leisure Centre in Station Road at 4am to deal with the initial incident.
Upon arrival, the crew found the charity clothing bins at the back of the building well alight and had to wrench them open to extinguish the flames.
