UBLY – The Ubly boys basketball team, coming off an emotional 47-43 victory over rival Harbor Beach on Saturday, proved to be too much for Capac (1-9, 0-7) on Monday night as the Bearcats beat the visiting Chiefs, 60-26
The Bearcats, who will host the Pirates in a rematch for the Greater Thumb East title on March 19, are now 8-2 overall and in conference play.
Leading the way for the Bearcats on Monday night were Kyle Sweeney and Gabe Sweeney each with 17 points and Cole Hagen with 10.
Up next for Ubly is road game at Marlette on Friday. The game tips off at 7:30 p.m.

The company which targets videogamers with its products said its GG Collection is being manufactured in collaboration with Champion Athleticwear. The company said the new apparel line is intended to provide gamers a stylish way to display their passion and will include T-shirts, hoodies, hats, and a coordinating face mask. The company said its apparel will only be available through its online shop.
