A patrol team from the Kingston Central Police Division seized a 9mm Beretta pistol along with nineteen 9mm rounds of ammunition on Wildman Street in downtown Kingston on Tuesday morning, December 21.
Reports are that about 7 am, the law enforcement team was in the area conducting patrol when on seeing them, a man suddenly dropped an object and ran.
The police gave chase and retrieved the object in the process, which turned out to be the firearm with the ammunition.
