Northlines 2,135 fresh cases, Recovery rate drops to 86.01 Jammu Tawi, Apr 26: The Jammu and Kashmir Union territory on Monday reported 25, highest ever deaths in the past 24 hours taking the death toll to 2,172 and the positive cases also continue to show a steep spurt as 2,135 fresh positive cases were reported pushing the number of active cases to 20,601 which otherwise were less than 600 around a month before. The active cases continue to increase and the recovery rate decreases with each passing day. 2,135 fresh positive cases reported on Monday pushed the tally of positive cases to 162,890. Of the exact number of 162,890 cases, 97,581 are from Kashmir and 65,309 from Jammu division. Officials informed that among 2,135 new cases, 1,344 belong to Kashmir division while as 791 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 97,581 including 84,124 recoveries and 1,344 deaths while as total number of posit
