ISLAMABAD: While 50 per cent of vaccine eligible residents of the federal capital have been partially inoculated, the positivity rate dropped to 1pc as only 34 people were found infected on Sunday.

Dawn that 34 new cases were detected against 3,226 tests on Sunday.
ISLAMABAD: Two people died after battling with Covid-19 in the capital on Thursday and 62 people were diagnosed with the disease.
During the last 24 hours 3,682 tests were conducted and the positivity rate was 1.6pc. As many as 140 patients reportedly recovered from the virus.
Officials of the capital administration said that the deceased, both female patients, were from the 50-89 age group. Both were residents of I-9 and B-17, they added. There are 2,687 active cases in the city, they added.

One person succumbed to Covid-19 in the district on Thursday and 26 people were diagnosed with the disease whereas 27 people were discharged from hospitals after recovering.
