Crossnore School Has New COO
Angela Hubbard Woods has been named the new Chief Operating Officer at Crossnore School & Children s Home.
The Avery Journal reports Woods comes to Crossnore with decades of community nonprofit experience, most recently CEO of the Girl Scouts Hornets’ Nest Council.
Woods has a Psychology degree from Spelman College, an MBA from Clark Atlanta University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia.
Beginning in late January, Woods will oversee Crossnore’s day-to-day business operations including finance, human resources, technology and facilities.
For more than 100 years, Crossnore School & Children’s Home has served children and families through group residential services, community-based family foster care and adoptions, and outpatient and school-based clinical services.
