Galveston Island Beach Patrol authorities and members of the U.S. Coast Guard searched for the body of a boy who drowned after being caught in a rip current on Tuesday, May 10, 2021.
GALVESTON, Texas - Authorities in Texas say a seven-year-old boy is presumed to have drowned after he went missing while at the beach with his family on Tuesday.
The Galveston Beach Control confirmed the likelihood of the child s death late Tuesday, according to local news outlets.

Cruise lines have been one of the largest sectors within the leisure travel industry impacted by coronavirus shutdowns. With vaccination rates increasing and new health and safety protocols implemented, it seems cruise travel is set to make a big comeback and many travel agents are reporting increased demand in new bookings for this year and beyond.
At the end of April, the CDC stated their commitment to seeing U.S. cruise operations resuming by mid-summer and commented on the planned relaunch of cruise travel. “CDC remains committed to the resumption of passenger operations in the U.S. following the requirements in the conditional sail order by mid-summer, which aligns with the goals announced by many major cruise lines and tr
