The county has set up a drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination site at Walter Hall Park in League City, which according to health authorities, has the highest rate of coronavirus infection in the area. They plan to begin vaccinations on Jan. 23 with those who have scheduled appointments through UTMB and the Galveston County Health District. Eventually, Henry said they aim to vaccinate as many as 5,000 people a day.
