Experts believe rare Roman remains uncovered at a housing development are the first of their kind to be found in Britain and possibly the entire ancient Roman Empire.
Archaeological excavations uncovered the remains at the development in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, which has now been redesigned to conserve the find.
