The year 2020 will be remembered for the pandemic, social unrest, and the presidential election. It should be remembered for the massive one-year spike in murders that robbed so many mothers of children.
The Black Lives Matter social justice movement is focused on race relations and the treatment of minorities by police. Yet, it ignores that most of the Black lives lost last year to murder were not at the hands of police, but other Blacks.
The time to address the violence plaguing communities is
now. Instead of looking for top-down, government-centered solutions, we should look to the communities themselves where mothers, fathers and law enforcement are working together to solve crimes, prevent violence and restore trust between neighborhoods and police.

So you re left to draw your own conclusions, which people naturally are doing. By the way, it s not making anyone more moderate. If you re really worried about extremism, you probably wouldn t put 10,000 federal troops in your capital city, making everyone more radical and crazy. But they don t care about that. The point of this whole highly militarized exercise is to remind you of what Mao Zedong once famously said: Political power grows from the barrel of a gun.

It was just a week ago they were telling us about unity. Remember that? What we didn t know at the time is they meant that everyone with power should unite against the rest of the country. Unity meant oligarchy.
DC teenâs murder brings violence against the youth back into focus, acting chief says

WASHINGTON - In the midst of the fallout of the Capitol riot, along with nearly a year of living with the coronavirus pandemic, the shooting death of a D.C. teen should serve as a reminder of the persistent scourge of violence against the city’s youth, Acting D.C. Police Chief Robert Contee said on Wednesday. I really just think it speaks to the level of violence that we cannot forget about in our city. We ended last year with homicides occurring in our city last year. And while the media may have been a little distracted by some of the things that have been going on with respect to some of the things that are going on downtown, the inauguration, what happened at the Capitol - we can’t forget about what’s happening in our communities, Contee said.
