The Township of Whitewater Region is announcing some changes to services and operations because of the Ontario-wide lockdown implemented to help curtail the spread of COVID-19. The provincial lockdown begins on Saturday, April 3.
The township’s Emergency Control Group, which includes Mayor Mike Moore, CAO Robert Tremblay and senior staff, met Thursday to review operations in anticipation of the provincial government’s announcement on Friday.

Whitewater’s new requirements and orders are expected to be in place until at least the end of April.
