ADM and Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., announced that the plant will locate in the former Cargill Malt plant near the Spiritwood Energy Park Association industrial park. Congratulations to those officials who persevered to make this project happen. The $350 million plant will add 70 permanent jobs to the area and is expected to process 150,000 bushels of soybeans a day, according to a news release on the project. The plant is expected to open prior to the soybean harvest in 2023.
