Royal Enfield North America has announced that the brand has renewed its partnership with Progressive American Flat Track for the 2021 season. Under the partnership, Royal Enfield North America will be an official OEM partner with Progressive American Flat Track (AFT) for 2021, and will return with its fleet of motorcycles to the AFT Fan Zone at select rounds, where fans will be able to see the bikes, and also have access to official MotoAnatomy X Royal Enfield flat track apparel. We were the first to tell you that Hyundai is bringing its N brand to India and it looks like the company is planning to do it, this year itself. We sound confident about it because well, the i20 N was just caught testing in the country and yes, it excites us to no end to know that the car will soon make its way to the country. All N badged cars are the higher performance versions of the production models they use as their base. The plan for India is two-pronged though, given that India remains a price sensitive market - and also the limited demand for hard core performance cars. And so while some N cars will be brought in to create a flutter and build image, they may not be sold through the regular retail channel. Those cars will help build aspiration and instead Hyundai will eye volumes from what it calls the N-Line range of products.

It s not the first time that Tata Motors has taunted its rivals for their product s crash worthiness. It was back in November 2020, that the company took a dig at the Maruti Suzuki SPresso for failing the Global NCAP crash test results. It s back again doing exactly that but this time calling out to the rivals to the Altroz. The Tata Altroz has received a 5-star safety rating by Global NCAP making it the safest premium hatchback in the country. Keeping this is mind, Tata Motors called out to the Bae-leno and the Hi 20 and asked both of them out on a crash date .

Yamaha may be working on a MT-07 based supersport, to be possibly called the Yamaha R7, which will replace the much-loved and popular, but now discontinued Yamaha YZF-R6. The Yamaha R6 was discontinued in November 2020, and even though the R6 was never sold in India, it has considerable fan following, both here at home, and an even stronger legion of fans abroad. The idea of a full-faired version of the MT-07 has been getting a lot of traction in recent times. In fact, Japanese publication Young Machine had even predicted the R7 before the R6 was discontinued.
