Date Time Police charge man with going armed, Edmonton Police have charged a man after he allegedly threatened a group of people with an axe in Edmonton, before following them to a nearby service station. Officers were called to the Bruce Highway service station around 12.15am (Saturday morning) after the man allegedly attempted to gain entry to the store still armed with the axe. He left the scene a short time later and was arrested by police near the intersection of the Bruce Highway and Thomson Road. No one was physically injured in the incident.
