The Bruce County Public Library has modified services it will be providing during the shutdown.
In-branch browsing will not be allowed until the lockdown is lifted but until then…
Curbside pick is available, this can be done online or over the phone.
Grab and go bags are available these are pre packaged titles on particular themes.

Computers can be accessed with an appointment…You can even get yourself a temporary library card if you have proper ID.
Returns can be dropped at any one of the library 17 branches.

From streaming movies to digital newspapers, DVDs to large print books, Bruce County Public Library offers something for everyone – free – and now, to meet the latest provincial pandemic shutdown, service is modified at all 17 branches to include curbside pick-up and drop-off, and pre-booked appointments for in-branch computer time.
An April 2 Bruce County news release said library patrons can place orders for curbside pickup by placing holds in the online catalogue, calling or emailing their local branch, or filling out a form on the library website.

Beginning Saturday, April 3, Bruce County Public Library services will be modified for the duration of the provincial shutdown. Library Services will be provided curbside, with the exception of computer access which will be by appointment.
Library patrons can place orders for Curbside Pickup by placing holds in the online catalogue, calling or emailing their local branch, or filling out a form on the library website. Patrons can request specific materials, or staff can pack a selection of materials based on books the patron has read or genres the patron enjoys.
