Denver’s superb tenor saxophonist and educator delves into the world of classical music for the first time with the assistance of the noted Frank Morelli on bassoon. In the great encounter of jazz meets classical Keith recruited his longtime accompanists, Jeff Jenkins-piano, Ken Walker-bass, and Todd Reid-drums. The album’s title makes a playful reference to Walter Van Tilburg Clark’s 1940 western novel The Ox-Bow Incident.
