LAS CRUCES – Ralph Ramos hopes to continue Superintendent Karen Trujillo s legacy of resilience as interim superintendent of Las Cruces Public Schools.
Ramos, principal at Camino Real Middle School, was chosen to temporarily lead the district through the end of the spring semester. He will serve as acting superintendent through June 30, or until the board finds a permanent superintendent.
Ramos said the phone call and interview with the school board Monday that led to him accepting the temporary position was spontaneous.
