CONROE, Texas A woman, out on parole after being charged in the death of her infant son, is now accused of leaving her newborn daughter in the toilet after giving birth, according to the Conroe Police Department.
Officers said Denette Williams told them she didn t know she was pregnant with her daughter. Around 3 a.m. on Sept. 3, 2020, Williams said she felt cramps and remembers hearing a plop in the toilet and seeing blood.
It was Williams boyfriend, Christopher Hardmon, who discovered the newborn head down in the toilet after he heard Williams screaming in the shower, investigators said. Hardmon rescued the baby and called 911.
Six men charged with solicitation of minors in Houston-area

HOUSTON - Six men were arrested after allegedly soliciting minors online.
Several Houston-area law enforcement agencies collaborated with the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to conduct an undercover investigation.
The purpose of the operation was to use social media to pose as juveniles in order to identify, locate, and apprehend adults willing to travel to meet children for the purposes of sexual activity.

Former Conroe priest sentenced to prison on indecency with a child charges
FOX 26 s Ivory Hecker has more after a former Conroe priest was sentenced to prison.
CONROE, Texas - A former Conroe priest has been sentenced to 10 years in prison on two charges of indecency with a child.
Manuel La Rosa-Lopez pleaded guilty in November and was formally sentenced on Wednesday.
According to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, the sentences of 10 years were pursuant to a plea agreement and will run concurrently.
La Rosa-Lopez is in custody at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and is awaiting transfer to prison.
