School authorities and teachers, particularly preschool teachers, I salute you! I’m suggesting that the next awards for best teachers should give special recognition to those who go the extra mile to get the children to wear their masks and keep to social distancing instructions. And I hope that the Ministry of Education, the Ghana Education Service and the National Teaching Council will find merit in my proposal to create a special category for such dedicated professionals as part of the next ‘Ghana Teacher Prize’.
