Cast an eye over the current fashion landscape, and one might draw a number of conclusions. Party-wear is relatively redundant. Ditto heels. Big coats and practical shoes seem more fitting for a season in which there’s very little to do outdoors but take long walks. Oh, and winter might always necessitate snug jumpers and cardigans, but this year they’re functioning more like comfort blankets.
