Over this past holiday weekend we aired the Memorial 500, a countdown of the top 500 classic rock songs of all time. We know that you were very busy cooking hot dogs on the grill, boiling lobsters in the pot, hanging with the family and remembering those no longer with us.
So, you may have not heard the entire countdown. Well we can t have that.

No, once was enough for the year because we really worked up a sweat playing the platters that matter , too hard for a bunch of disc jockeys that don t know where the lawnmower is.
This Memorial Day Weekend, the Home of Rock and Roll conducted its annual countdown of the top 500 songs of all time. This year's #1 pick caused quite a stir. Here's the full list for anyone who wants to see where their favorite song wound up on the ultimate list.
Memorial Day 500! The list was compiled based on national airplay, digital streams, and YouTube play.
Led Zeppelin had the most entries in the countdown with 21 songs.
2020 s #1 song was Sweet Emotion from Aerosmith. 2019 s #1 track was Queen s Bohemian Rhapsody.

Alexandra Suarez and Jamie Urquijo had several chance encounters before they officially met and he finally asked her out. As fate would have it, their first meeting was on Valentine’s Day in 2015 in Calatagan, a beach town a few hours south of Manila. “He was cooking a massive shrimp boil for a group of about 30 people,” Alexandra remembers. “I was invited by some common friends of ours last minute, and not having any Valentine’s plans, I decided to tag along. The shrimp boil was amazing, but he was too busy cooking to strike up a conversation!”
Louisiana Tech’s School of Music will host a songwriting masterclass with Grammy-winning guitarist Peter Frampton, at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 4.
Frampton is the songwriter and performer of classic 1970s rock hits such as
Baby, I Love Your Way, Do You Feel Like We Do, and
Show Me the Way, and his album
Frampton Comes Alive! is one of the most successful live albums in the history of recorded music. He was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame in 2014.
Frampton will share both valuable insight and advice with future songwriters in the School of Music and registered guests at the event, made possible by support from Tech’s College of Liberal Arts.
