Henderson woman hurt in Sunday night shooting
HENDERSON, Ky. A Henderson woman was shot Sunday night after someone fired a gun into her house multiple times, police said.
City police said the woman was in the bedroom of her house in the 500 block of South Alvasia Street around 11 p.m. when she was struck by a bullet.
HPD Detective John Nevels said the woman was one of three adults and two children in the home when someone opened fire. Police said multiple bullets hit the house.
More information about the woman s medical condition was not immediately available.
Police said no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call HPD at 270-831-1295 or Henderson Crime Stoppers at 270-831-1111.
