A day after an escalation of tension between Assam and Meghalaya on the inter-state border, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Tuesday said the situation is under control and asked people and district administrations of both states to refrain from taking any aggressive stand.

GUWAHATI: An online event in relation with inauguration of National Green Corps (NGC)-Eco Club at Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Khanapara was organised on Wednesday afternoon in the presence of students and teachers of the school along with a galaxy of dignitaries.
The prime objective of the event was to make K.V. Khanapara a part of the network of more than 1.5 lakh Eco Clubs of the country established under the scheme National Green Corps, a flagship campaign of the Ministry of Environment Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Govt. of India.
