Blackberry Smoke will embark on the “Spirit of the South Tour: A Celebration of Southern Rock N’ Roll” this summer. The band will be joined by special guests The Allman Betts Band, The Wild Feathers and co-founding The Allman Brothers Band drummer Jaimoe for a series of dates spanning July 30 – August 27 as well as shows in September and October.
Initially, BBS planned to head out on the “Spirit of the South Tour” in 2020 before the pandemic led to a one-year delay. Each show on the tour will conclude with a collaborative finale paying tribute to various influences within Southern music. Additionally, The Allman Brothers Band Museum At The Big House will host a mobile set up at each venue featuring “never-before-seen archival items including original hand-written lyrics, family photographs, iconic clothing and jewelry, one-of-a-kind instruments played by the band and more.”
