Artwork of New Jersey Artist, Stephanie Deshpande, Included on a Time Capsule to the Moon with 1200 International Artists and One A.I. Montclair, NJ, April 29, 2021 (PR.com) The Peregrine Collection – an assembly of thousands of creative works by over 1200 creative artists and one A.I. – is headed for the Moon. Seven paintings by the New Jersey artist, Stephanie Deshpande, are included in this collection.
Deshpande is a representational painter best known for her emotive portraits and narrative paintings. Her work combines her love of realism with personal allegories. She has received recognition for her paintings by numerous art clubs and magazines. Her work appears in 40 Contemporary Great Masters of Portrait Painting by the Editorial Staff of The Art of Watercolour magazine. Deshpande also painted the memorial portrait of Cynthia Graham Hurd, one of the Emanuel AME Church shooting victims, which is on view at the Cynthia Graham Hurd/St Andrews Regional Librar

Visual Arts Centre of Clarington Zoom discussion with artist, Hiba Abdallah, and archivist, Tamara Rayan. Moderated by curator, Sandy Saad-Smith the discussion will touch on some of the most compelling issues around the nature and meaning of the archive. Looking at the archive as a conceptual and physical space in which memories are preserved and history decided, the talk will explore questions around the ways in which we create, store, and circulate information. Boston, MA - Boston Design Week returns April 28 â May 9 for its 8th annual festival,  featuring 50+ virtual and outdoor events, including the annual Design Week Awards on Friday May 7th. Under the theme âSpring Forward!â, this 12-day design festival offers a range of virtual programs featuring nationally-known guest speakers, panel discussions, behind-the-scenes tours and more.  A special festival section titled âLandscape Design and Outdoor Lifeâ will offer live outdoor events such as walking tours, architectural site visits, and landscape design explorations. All events are open to the public and FREE. Temple-area campaign signs with black and gold lettering proclaim: âVote Yes.â
The signs support Temple Collegeâs $124.9 million bond proposal to expand and update campus facilities that voters will decide May 1.
Early voting for the bond election begins Monday.
The proposal calls for a major expansion of the schoolâs Health Sciences Center to address a shortage of health care workers and improve several college buildings that are 50 to 60 years old.
âIf approved, the new facilities could be completed by 2026 when Temple College will be celebrating its 100th anniversary,â TC President Christy Ponce said. âThese campus advancements would represent an important milestone in Temple Collegeâs history of being trusted for generations and building for the future.â
