3 of 8 With ranges up to 770 kilometres and an output of up to 516 hp, the powertrain of the EQS befits a sedan in the S-Class segment. A performance version with up to 630 hp is also being planned.

Prices are set to start from £90k for the rear-wheel drive EQS 450+, which goes from 0-62mph in 6.2 seconds
More potent versions - including the EQS 580 4Matic all-wheel drive model - will follow later, says Mercedes
The car will debut the all-new Hyperscreen - a triple-screen infotainment display spanning the dashboard
