Millennium Centre Charity shops Second Chance and MC Books launch

The shops on Bickerstaffe Street TWO charity shops have been launched in St Helens town centre. The Millennium Centre charity shops Second Chance and MC Books were opened on Bickerstaffe Street as part of a wholesale change to the organisation. Since September last year, the TMC have had a whole new team and approach to their 21-year-old charity. Previously, before the COVID-19 pandemic, it allowed charities and voluntary organisations to hire meeting rooms and therapy rooms for free. However, due to the pandemic, this facility is limited and although it still offer its large meeting room, has directed its energies and resources into opening up two charity shops.

The duo have been bar consultants for the last 12 years and have built bars around the United States for clients. The name Happy Accidents was inspired by painter Bob Ross who was the creator and host of “The Joy of Painting,” an instructional television program that aired on PBS from the early 1980s to the mid-’90s.
