The first three episodes of
WandaVision three out of nine were, in a way, just showing off. Made in the styles of 50s, 60s and 70s TV, they showed us Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and her husband Vision (Paul Bettany) in a series of homey suburban stories about bosses coming over for dinner, nosy neighbors, and suddenly going into labor. The third episode began to hint at the wider story that would come to dominate the series by the end: Wanda is, after all, part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She is Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch.

The author s daughter, Rosy, at age 2 as she does dishes voluntarily. Getting her involved in chores did lead to the kitchen being flooded and dishes being broken. But she is still eager to help.

In the middle of a pandemic, Mavis Owureku-Asare is optimistic.
The reason? On February 24, her homeland, Ghana, became the first low-resource country to receive free COVID-19 vaccines through COVAX. I feel very hopeful, says Owureku-Asare, a food scientist with the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission and a 2020 Aspen New Voices fellow. Ghana has become a role model for other countries.

A small porcelain bowl that cost $35 at a yard sale and turned out to be a rare, 15th-century Chinese artifact has sold at a Sotheby s auction for $721,800 more than 20,000 times its original asking price.
An unidentified Connecticut man bought the bowl from a yard sale near New Haven last year, and later emailed photos to Sotheby s seeking an evaluation. Appraisers determined it dates back to the Ming dynasty of the early 1400 s, and estimated its worth at between $300,000 and $500,000.
