Updated: 4:26 PM EST Dec 19, 2020 An on-duty, uniformed Montgomery County police officer was assaulted while waiting in line at a Chipotle in Rockville, police said.Nyziere London, 21, of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and resisting arrest, police said.Investigators said the officer was in line Friday night waiting to order food at a Chipotle restaurant on Shady Grove Road in Rockville when London walked up to the officer and punched him in the face twice.Police said London didn t say anything before the assault, was not provoked and did not have any previous interaction with the officer.Police said London continued to punch the officer s body as the officer tried to arrest him. Another officer, who was in the restaurant and paying for her food, heard the commotion and came to the first officer s aid.
