In a joint statement, the board of trustees for the Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society said: As summer approaches rapidly the Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society has had to take the decision not to go ahead with the three-day Pembrokeshire County Show this August. “We continue to monitor the coronavirus situation and whilst the vaccination programme is progressing well, it has become evident that it is not feasible to run the ‘normal’ County Show this year due to the ongoing uncertainty.

Coronavirus: Cereals event delayed to welcome more visitors >More in © Tim Scrivener This year’s Cereals event, the leading technical event for the UK arable industry, has been moved to 30 June – 1 July due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Organisers believe delaying the event by three weeks will enable them to welcome the maximum number of exhibitors and visitors as the country exits the lockdown. The UK government plans to end lockdown restrictions in England by 21 June and event organisers say the venue – Boothby Graffoe in Lincolnshire – and format will remain the same. “We wanted to act quickly in making this decision to give everyone certainty so they can plan ahead,” explained event organiser Alli McEntyre.
