Veteran-Owned Augusta Coffee Shop Closing Indefinitely
There is no doubt that 2020 has been a very tough year for small, locally owned, businesses. This is especially true for restaurants, coffee shops, and entertainment venues. Sadly, the anti-coronavirus mandates that have been put in place by the government have not been kind to that type of business.
According to a post on their Facebook page, Huiskamer Coffee Shop, located on Water Street in Augusta, will be closing permanently at 2 PM this afternoon (December 23rd).
In the post, they explain that Governor Mills executive orders and the Maine CDC are the reason for their closure.
